Middle School Pastor
Pastors Gary and Emily are examples of “fruit” that has been produced at Freedom Tabernacle. Gary and Emily were both active participants in the youth group at Freedom Tabernacle during their teenage years prior to their marriage in 2002. Since that time, they served in various ministry roles. It soon became evident that this wonderful, young couple had a heart to minister to youth. Gary and Emily began serving as the LINK (Grades 6-8) pastors in 2010. Gary has an Associates degree in Biblical Studies and is an ordained minister through the Church of God. They have 5 beautiful children: Clarissa 14, Andrew 12, Joshua 9, Elizabeth 8, and Dalton 3.Email
High School Pastor
Todd and Tonia have been married since 1993 and have 2 daughters (Alex 21 and Madison 18). Todd was born and raised in Forsyth County and Tonia was born and raised just down the road in Cherokee County. Todd was called to the ministry in 2005 and was ordained and called to pastor a church in 2008. A few years later a chain of events caused a redirection in their lives. With a more firm focus on what God’s plans were and a stronger faith in Him, they began to visit other churches and explore a deeper meaning of God’s Word. After multiple life lessons, valleys and mountain tops, they set their feet firmly in the love of God and were drawn to Freedom Tabernacle. Todd has a strong call to the youth of Freedom and his community and Tonia’s unwavering support has been the cornerstone of this new endeavor for them. Tonia is a true prayer warrior and has a desire to help others. Their daughter Alex also helps with the youth at the church and Madison is a proud member of the praise and worship team at Freedom. It truly is a family affair for this loving family. Todd feels that their goal is to help these kids and direct them on the proper path to follow, being led by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Todd states, “There is just too much out there these days for our kids to get into. It’s our duty to lead by example and teach them how to wear and use the whole armor of God to protect them in the daily battles that come their way.”
