Freedom Tabernacle held its first service on December 17, 2000 in a local warehouse where 67 people joined the church. A few years later, the Lord provided us with some property, and construction began on a new building. We moved into our current facility on July 4, 2003. Since that time, God has continued to bless us in tremendous ways, and facility expansion plans are currently being prepared.
Freedom Tabernacle is a spirit-filled, non-denominational church with a family-like atmosphere. A variety of ministries are provided in order to minister to people of all ages and backgrounds. We believe in the restoration of the family and strive to minister to every person at the point of his/her need. Through our mission statement of “doing whatever it takes to reach the unreachable and the hurting,” our desire is for people to experience healing of their spirit, soul and body.
Our message is a message of hope. We understand the struggles that people go through, and according to the apostle Paul, we “help bear one another’s burdens.” Our passion is not only to lead people to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ but also for them to understand that Jesus came so they could live an abundant, victorious life through the purposeful, fulfilling life that Jesus offers.
A motto that we have implemented in our speech that sums up the heart of our congregation:
AND LOVING IT!!!
